Though only into her second couture collection, 40 year old, Cannes-born, Bouchra Jarrar has had a head-start in the production of a womens wear collection with finesse and accomplishment. She spent 10 years at Balenciaga under Nicholas Ghesquiere and 2 years under the direct tutelage of the master couturier, Christian Lacroix, befor his house closed for financial reasons. but, when one door closes, another opens; and the result is a super luxe, modern, young and fresh parisian version of minimalism.
